Nasi Lemak 2.0

After a lot of being said about this Namewee's film, finally I watched it last weekend after the pirated DVD is out.. I would love to support Namewee to watch it in cinema, but too bad... I can't walk yet.

It is basically a very simple storyline. But for those too sensitive people, you will relate to our country's politics, issues, etc..

In the first scene of the old chinese man being caught having sex with another woman.. I will relate to our MCA's president. For malay viewers', perhaps they will relate to PKR leader. Siapa yang makan cili, dia lah yang merasa pedasnya.

Some other scenes were the proton car, keris  .. I dont see the sentiments of "hina" the Malay ethnic. It is something happenned in Malaysia and what so big deal relate it in the movie?
Proton cars's quality indeed need to improve, else why we are seeing more and more Toyota and Honda on the road?
We have seen thousands of movies in Holywood.. openly critic their leaders, politics, etc... so what's wrong with this movie that relates to our Malaysia happenings.

A lot of people will relate Namewee's past incidents of "Negarakuku" and "TNB" .
I watched again the Negarakuku video, certain ethnics felt that it is a humiliation to them.. but this is what the truth or things really happenned/ happening in Malaysia. When it is a truth, why they think it is a humiliation..? They are humiliating themselve in fact.

For the TNB video, if you personally experienced the stopages of electricity so frequently, it is the correct message to TNB to improve their service and quality of work.

Put aside the past of Namewee's video creation and watch Nasi Lemak 2.0.
It is a message to rakyat Malaysia to stay united.

That's my 2 cents worth of thoughts.

How creative!

There are many creative people around the world.
With their gifted abilities, we can only enjoy all these cute pictures.

Modern weddings

In a wedding, if the bridegroom and his "heng tai" (brothers) do not play the games being prepared by the bride's "chi mui" (sisters), they will be labeled as not sporting. I agree.

But, nowadays, some girls goes all the way out to torture the boys.
All sorts of games intoduced as long it can make them happy. Very ganas games I would say, some even has created an ugly scene.

When I saw this picture, I think this bridegroom really a victim of the aggresive "chi mui".
What you think? Maybe I am outdated.. hmmmm...

The prosperous marriage of Sesame street character gave birth to our Angry Birds.
Kermit+Elizabeth = Green Pig
Elmo+Oscar = Red Angry Bird
Big Bird+Bert = Yellow Angry Bird
Big Bird+Cookie Monster = Blue Angry Bird

A-B-C for modern kids

I still teach my child the conventional A-B-C though this new version is out.

I am stucked!

When I was young, teacher asked us to write "karangan" (short essay) on "What is my ambition when I grow up" .... it will be very funny if I can read it back.

I remember quite well my ambition was a clerk. How funny now ended up I am a "sort of" office lady that stuck in the 8- 5 job or sometimes 9-6 ...
I would not say this is a lousy job because it pays me good, but if I can do the things I love to do for a living (enough for a "good" living) then it will be perfect.. okay, okay.. u will tell me "Nothing is perfect".

In the real world of working for people, you will see a lot of sad truth knowing that you can only trust yourself. Besides, I hate to say this.. "our fate is depend on our boss" .. so.. is there any job satisfaction at the end of the day?

I know there are so many people that end up with their job although they have to drag their feet to work everyday. It is because of their life commitment which leave them no choice at all. Are you one of them?

I admire those people that makes a bold change to their life career. I have friends that quit their engineering job to become a wedding photographer. You can see the difference of an engineer and a photographer.. an engineer is a robot/machine.. photographer is a human. They are happy with what they are doing cos they love the job and the task that they are doing maybe tougher. But all in all.. they love what they are doing. This is the best part!

While I am having my 2 months hospitalization leave due to my leg injury, I am trying out blogging .. job as a blogger.. hahaha..
